The good immigrant 2 Manual

Devotional Christmas 3 quoted Joseph of Egypt as an example of forgiveness and love. But it is also an example of good immigrant.
Joseph goes to Egypt guided by the will of God and there he shows us how behaves an immigrant who is guided by God and has a right mind.
Joseph could have been disgusted with the way his brothers treated him. Joseph could have been stopped and let life go by. Joseph might have forgotten God and lived a dissolute life ... But he did not!
José when going to the house of Potiphar, works with respect and dedication. The apostle Paul advises us that we must work as if we were working for God, and Joseph did so, and was recognized. In a society where merit is rewarded, José proved qualified morally and administratively.
When falsely accused by Potiphar's wife, Joseph goes to prison. His life could have ended there, but even in these circumstances, José seeks to engage and be helpful. Engages in care, meet a need that was there and show love for those around him.
When the King's officers go to prison, José shows that he is connected to God. He did not leave his communion with the hand of the Father, he did not let God bring forth out the circumstances of your life. Never let the love of God in your heart to cool.
Joseph led the King's presence shows knowledge and wisdom. God Bless you. He then, after much struggle, receives the refreshing of their pain.
A warning: beware of generalizations! A bad person is not a people. Potiphar's wife did not represent the whole of Egypt. If someone asks you or did evil are not all like that. Even because the same way, a bad migrant is not all immigrants. Do not generalize.
Joseph, Me. Joseph is you. When I was in Italy my wish was to someday take my family to be with me there. I went and I would have paved the way for them. But it was not possible.
Good immigrant me and you!
